Anvil Engineering Ltd is a small company based in Norfolk. The workshop is part of the Sandringham Estate to which we do carry out work for. The work that is commissioned is mostly bespoke designs that can either be designed by us or by the customer.
Gates can be made to any design that the customer desires, our expertise in ironwork will be able to say if this would look right or we may suggest some design alterations.
Gates manufactured can be hot dipped galvanised, this is a process that coats the item in molten zinc so as to stop rust, this can be painted or powder coated to the desired colour.
All larger gates commissioned can be manual or electrically operated all this can be quoted for at time of ordering.
Renovation Work on Railings & Gates
If required older railings and gates can be renovated and brought back to their original state using the older methods where as rails were leaded in to plinths or brickwork. Nowadays most older items that where originally made of wrought iron can be successfully welded using the latest welding techniques.
